Wildergeist is a one-person project.
Greg Kirczenow lives on the Eastern Shore of Nova Scotia, where he is restoring six acres of Wabanaki forest. He built Wildergeist after years of walking that forest every day on his lunch break. The habit changed what he noticed out there, and left him wondering whether AI could deepen attention to the world rather than pull it away. He has worked in AI for over a decade and teaches it at Saint Mary's University.
